About ALEDA:
The Albert Lea Economic Development Agency (ALEDA) is the local economic development organization proudly representing Albert Lea and Freeborn County. Our mission is to drive growth, foster innovation, and create a thriving community for all. ALEDA encompasses the Albert Lea Port Authority, a governmental non-profit, and Greater Jobs, Inc., a private non-profit economic development corporation.
Internship Highlights:
As an ALEDA intern, you’ll have the unique chance to be involved in a wide array of community and business development activities, providing you with invaluable insights into:
Business Management
Community Development
Communications and Marketing
Organizational Leadership
Duties include:
Assisting in daily office operations
Working on various projects, including creating business and community outreach materials
Organizing and managing electronic files
Supporting staff in meetings, presentations, and research
And more!
Desired Qualifications:
We’re looking for bright, motivated individuals with the following qualifications:
Academic major in Political Science, Marketing, Communications, Business, Finance, or a related field
A grade point average of 3.0 or better
A personal commitment to public service and community growth
Compensation:
ALEDA Internships are paid.
